Article 1 Scope of contract
  1. Accommodation contracts and related agreements entered into by this hotel with guests shall be in accordance with the provisions of these general terms and conditions, and any matters not provided for in these general terms and conditions shall be in accordance with laws and regulations or generally established customs.

The Japanese language shall be the official language of these General Terms and Conditions. In the event that a translation of these Terms and Conditions is made into a language other than Japanese, only the Japanese language version shall be deemed effective as the contract, and such translation shall have no effect whatsoever.

Article 2 Application for Accommodation Contract
  1. A person who wishes to apply for an accommodation contract with this hotel shall provide the following information to this hotel:
    1. Name of the person(s) staying at the hotel
    2. Date of stay and estimated time of arrival
    3. Accommodation charge
    4. Other items deemed necessary by this hotel
  2. In the event that a guest requests to continue his/her stay beyond the date of stay stipulated in item 2 of the preceding paragraph during his/her stay, this hotel shall treat such request as a new application for a contract of accommodation at the time such request is made.
Article 3 Establishment of Accommodation Contract
  1. The accommodation contract shall be concluded when this hotel has accepted the application as described in the preceding article. However, this shall not apply when this hotel proves that it has not given its consent.
  2. When a contract of accommodation has been concluded pursuant to the provisions of the preceding paragraph, the guest shall pay, by the date designated by this hotel, a reservation deposit determined by this hotel within the limit of the basic accommodation charge for the period of stay (if exceeding 3 days, for 3 days).
  3. The reservation deposit shall first be allocated to the room charge ultimately payable by the guest, and if a situation arises where the provisions of Articles 6 and 16 apply, it shall be allocated in the order of penalty followed by compensation, and any remaining amount shall be returned at the time of payment of the charge pursuant to the provisions of Article 11.
  4. In the event that the reservation deposit as stipulated in paragraph 2 is not paid by the date designated by this hotel pursuant to the provisions of said paragraph, the accommodation contract shall cease to be effective. However, this shall apply only in the event that this hotel has notified the guest to that effect when designating the date for payment of the reservation deposit.
Article 4: Special Contract in which the Payment of the Reservation Deposit Fee is Not Required
  1. Notwithstanding the provisions of Paragraph 2 of the preceding article, this hotel may accept a special agreement not to require payment of the reservation deposit as set forth in the same paragraph after the contract is concluded.
  2. In the event that this hotel does not require payment of the reservation deposit as set forth in Paragraph 2 of the preceding article or does not specify the date of payment of said reservation deposit upon accepting the application for the accommodation contract, it shall be deemed that this hotel has accepted the special agreement set forth in the preceding paragraph.
Article 5 Refusal to Conclude an Accommodation Contract
  1. This hotel may refuse to conclude an accommodation contract in the following cases:
    1. When an application for accommodation is not in accordance with these terms and conditions
    2. When there is no room available due to full occupancy
    3. When it is recognized that there is a possibility that the person applying for accommodation may commit an act contrary to laws and regulations, public order, or good morals in connection with the accommodation
    4. When it is recognized that the person applying for accommodation is a member of a crime syndicate, a quasi-organized crime syndicate, a person related to or affiliated with a crime syndicate in any form, or any other anti-social force as defined in the "Law Concerning Prevention of Unjust Acts by Members of Crime Syndicates" (Law No. 77, 1991).
    5. When it is recognized that the person applying for accommodation is likely to commit assault, threats, extortion, gambling, possession or use of prohibited drugs, or other illegal acts or acts offensive to public order and morals in this hotel.
    6. When it is recognized that the person who intends to apply for accommodation has committed or is likely to commit an act that is extremely disturbing to other guests.
    7. When it is clearly recognized that the person who intends to apply for accommodation is suffering from a contagious disease
    8. When the person applying for accommodation requests the hotel to bear a burden exceeding a reasonable range in relation to the accommodation.
    9. When it is recognized that the person applying for accommodation has, in the past, made defamatory, libelous, threatening, or inflammatory postings, etc. on SNS, etc., regarding this hotel or its employees (including the manager), obstructed the operation of this hotel, or committed acts that damage the reputation and brand of this hotel and the Junon Group.
    10. When we are unable to accommodate guests due to natural disasters, facility malfunctions, or other unavoidable reasons
    11. When a guest is accompanied by a pet (small animal, etc.) (excluding guide dogs, etc.)
Article 6 Guest's Right to Cancel Contract
  1. The guest may cancel the accommodation contract by making a request to this hotel.
  2. In the event that a guest cancels all or part of the accommodation contract due to reasons attributable to the guest, this hotel may charge a penalty fee (except in cases where this hotel has designated a payment date for the application fee and requested payment thereof in accordance with Article 3, paragraph 2, and the guest has cancelled the accommodation contract prior to such payment). However, in the event that the Hotel complies with the special provisions of Article 4.1, in accepting such a special agreement this hotel will only do so when it has notified the guest of his/her obligation to pay a penalty charge in the event that the guest cancels the accommodation contract.
  3. In the event that a guest does not arrive at the hotel 2 hours after the scheduled arrival time on the day of the stay without informing the hotel, this hotel may deem the accommodation contract to have been cancelled by the guest.
Article 7 Right of the Hotel to Cancel the Contract
  1. This hotel reserves the right to cancel the accommodation contract in the following cases
    1. When a guest is suffering from a contagious disease, or when there is a strong suspicion that the guest is suffering from such a disease
    2. When the guest is recognized as a member of a crime syndicate, a quasi-constituent of a crime syndicate, a person related to a crime syndicate, or any other antisocial force as defined in the "Law Concerning Prevention of Unjust Acts by Members of Crime Syndicates" (Law No. 77, 1991)
    3. When a guest violates these terms and conditions or does not follow the instructions of employees
    4. When a guest has committed or is suspected of committing an assault, threat, extortion, gambling, possession or use of prohibited drugs, or any other illegal act or an act offensive to public order and morals in this hotel.
    5. When a guest has committed, is suspected of committing, or is likely to commit, acts in violation of the measures necessary for fire prevention (such as prohibition of bringing in cassette stoves) stipulated by this hotel, such as smoking in the bedroom, tampering with fire-fighting equipment, etc.
    6. When a guest commits, or is suspected of committing, an act that causes inconvenience to other guests or an act that seriously interferes with the provision of services to other guests.
    7. When a guest makes a demand (including a demand for apology or a demand for punishment) or a demand to bear a burden that exceeds a reasonable range to this hotel or an employee of this hotel in an aggressive manner
    8. When the guest's words or actions offend the dignity of other guests or employees of this hotel
    9. When it is recognized that the person applying for accommodation has, in the past, made defamatory, libelous, threatening, or inflammatory postings, etc. on SNS, etc., regarding this hotel or its employees (including the manager), obstructed the operation of this hotel, or committed acts that damage the reputation and brand of this hotel and the Junon Group.
    10. When it is impossible to accommodate guests due to force majeure such as natural disasters
  2. In the event that the accommodation contract is cancelled in accordance with items 2 through 9 of the preceding paragraph, the accommodation charge already paid will not be refunded. If the accommodation charge has not been paid, an amount equivalent to the accommodation charge must be paid as a penalty. In such a case, the hotel will not allow the guest to use the hotel in the future.
  3. In the event that the accommodation contract is cancelled pursuant to Items 1.1 and 1.10 of Paragraph 1, no charge will be made for services not provided to the guest.
Article 8 Accommodation Registration
  1. Guests shall register the following items at the front desk of this hotel on the day of their stay

    2. For foreigners who do not have a registered domicile in Japan, nationality, passport number, place of entry and date of entry.
      (A photocopy of your passport will be taken for verification purposes.)
    3. Departure date and scheduled departure time.
    4. Any other items deemed necessary by the hotel.
  2. When a guest intends to make payment of the charges in accordance with Article 11 by a method that can be substituted for currency, such as a lodging voucher accepted by this hotel, the guest is requested to present such a voucher at the time of registration in advance as described in the preceding paragraph.
Article 9. Hours of Use of Guest Rooms
  1. Guests may use their rooms from the time of check-in until 10:00 AM of the day following the last day of their stay, except for special accommodation plans.
  2. Notwithstanding the provisions of the preceding paragraph, the hotel may accept the use of a room outside the hours specified in the preceding paragraph. In such cases, the following additional charges will apply
    1. Until 1:00 PM: 500 yen per person (tax included)
    2. After 1:00 PM: 100% of the room charge
Article 10 Compliance with Rules of Use
  1. Guests shall comply with the rules of use established by this hotel while in the hotel.
Article 11 Payment of Charges
  1. Payment of the accommodation charge, etc. as set forth in the preceding paragraph shall be made at the reception upon arrival of the guest in currency or by a method acceptable to this hotel, such as a lodging voucher, which may be substituted for such payment.
  2. Room charges shall be charged even if the guest voluntarily does not stay in the room after this hotel has provided the room to the guest and made it available for his/her use.
  3. If a key is lost, the guest will be charged 5,000 yen to replace the lock.
Article 12 Liability of this hotel
  1. This hotel may compensate for any damage caused to the guest in the performance of the accommodation contract and related agreements, or in the event of non-fulfillment of such agreements. However, this shall not apply if the damage is not caused by reasons attributable to this hotel.
Article 13 Handling in the event that a contracted guest room cannot be provided
  1. In the event that this hotel is unable to provide the contracted guest room, this hotel shall mediate with other accommodation facilities designated by this company.
Article 14 Handling of Deposited Items, etc.
  1. The hotel will not be liable for any loss or damage to any articles, cash, or valuables brought into the hotel by guests that are not left at the reception, unless such loss or damage is caused by the hotel's willful misconduct or gross negligence.
  2. If a guest wishes to leave items at the reception before or after check-out, the hotel will not accept valuables or cash. Other items may not be accepted for storage due to their nature, storage space, or other circumstances.Please note that the following conditions will apply when we accept your deposit.
    1. Guests must notify the hotel of the date and time they will pick up their items when they drop them off.
    2. In the event that the guest is unable to pick up the items after the due date, the hotel will keep the items for up to one month after the due date has passed.
    3. The hotel will consider the guest to have waived his/her right of ownership approximately one month after the deadline for pick up has passed, and will dispose of the items in possession.
    4. The hotel reserves the right to potentially charge the guest for expenses incurred in contacting, returning, and disposing of the possessions left in the care of the hotel after the deadline for the pick up has passed.
Article 15 Custody of Luggage or Personal Effects of Guests
  1. In the event that a guest's baggage arrives at this hotel prior to his/her stay, the hotel will take responsibility for keeping it only if the hotel understands this prior to arrival, and will hand it over to the guest when he/she checks in at the reception.
  2. In the event that a guest's baggage or personal belongings are left at this hotel after check-out and the owner is found, this hotel shall contact the owner as necessary and request instructions from him or her. However, if there are no instructions from the owner, if the owner cannot be identified, or if the owner does not pick up the item, the item will be kept for 7 days including the date of discovery before being disposed of.
    The hotel will dispose of food, beverages, magazines, and other similar waste at its discretion.
Article 16 Liability of Guests
  1. In the event that the hotel suffers damage due to the intentional or negligent act of a guest, said guest shall compensate the hotel for such damage.
Article 17 Calling a guest by visitors
  1. We are unable to respond to requests by visitors to call a specific guest if the name and the room number they have provided does not match with the actual guest.
  2. Only the guests are allowed to enter the guest room floor.
  3. Please use the lobby on the first floor when conducting interviews.
